    Default Ride to Huntington Lake

Route: Hwy 145-Hwy 168 up past Shaver Lake to a small restaurant/bar at Huntington Lake and back down the same way.

    Meeting place/time: Riverbucks at 9:30am-leaving by 10:00am.

Of course all bikes are welcome, but this ride is best suited for sport bikes. Please bring everyone that wants to come-I want this ride to have a billion bikes if possible.

I am sure everyone on the forum is familiar with this area, but just in case you're not, it is a very windy road that is in pretty good shape all the way up. The ride takes about 4-5 hours there and back if we stop a lot, which we hopefully won't have to. There will surly be traffic but it can be ridden around fairly easily.

Everyone can go their own pace and we will wait for everyone every time there is an important turning point or whatever, so don't worry about keeping up with people.

Please RSVP so I know how many people to expect.

p.s. we have a few riders from Madera that I'm bringing from novice to experienced, one riding a Ninja 250r so don't worry about being slow-the pack will wait for you.

Sweet there are at least some of you guys looking into going. I have a few people from Madera going too that aren't members of the forum (yet) so we will hopefully have at least like 5 bikes but I hope for more.

What would be the odds of moving this ride to Sunday? Just wondering

Well I have to work on Sundays so I can never ride on that day of the week unfortunately. Sounds like there's gonna be quite a few bikes on Saturday though which should be cool. No one's stopping you guys from riding on Sunday though if that's better for you guys!

Should be good weather for riding, the temp should be around 66-72 deg. there. Might rain Sunday though.

Oh come on it just two hours of difference besides pine flat ride it's going to be hotter, and hunnington cooler because of the altitude

Very true! Also, if anyone needs to be back soon or something they could always head back when we get to shaver.
