I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Wilsons closing for good today... the end of a great motorcycle shop and legacy

It was great about 3 owners ago, but I'm not really surprised after Winslow let Kawi and Yam go that they are closing. Hopefully Clawson doesn't start hiking the prices on KTM stuff.

The motorcycle shop is closed, effective last Friday. The bicycle shop is still open, and looking for a new shop (obviously a lot smaller.)

As for Robert, I'm sure he is still working for Bobby Fong in the upcoming MotoAmerica season, but I'm not sure what else.

Just to clear things up....Winslow didn't "let" Yamaha and Kawasaki go....
The Clovis location was too close to Clawsons for the Factory to approve another franchise unless it was approved by Clawsons first, and that didn't happen....
All of the owners of Wilson's ALWAYS tried their hardest to do the right thing..
The Foundry Park location was always off the beaten path and not a good spot to have walk in traffic...Clovis was an amazing location....it wasn't cost effective to keep them both open....

As far as Robert goes...he is crew chief for Bobby again this year, and may just turn up at another dealership someday....

I worked for Wilson's for 15 years before I left in Feb 2016....I loved the place and people....its gone, but not forgotten....

There is no one to blame...it just ran its course.
    I always win....no matter what
