    Default Ride 9/12 EARLY

Just thought I'd post this here to make it as visible as possible for everyone. My friend Jeff and I are riding tomorrow EARLY, since it will be 1000 degrees as soon as the sun is fully over the horizon. It's gonna be a short ride, 2 hours at the most, so we can get home, out of the heat, and on with our day.

    Meet at Riverbux 7am.

All riders, all paces welcome of course. So get your ass out of bed and into the twisties!

I think we'll probably just go up Auberry to 168 and come home. Not sure if any of that is affected by the rough fire but I guess we'll find out. Auberry up by 168 is a great road of course!

Hummm ... I wonder how dirty the roads up that way are with ash? Air quality up that a way is gonna be yicky. Contemplating... If I am there I am in. If I am not I am out.

Is the glass half empty or half full?

All the ash will keep us shaded and cool

Super day to go for a ride. We definitely beat the heat. It was almost spring like conditions. Had a great time!

Glad you made it out. It's great that you are back in the saddle again. Were you just standing and stretching or doing some standing wheelies?

Please post up when you head out on some of your rides. It's nice to learn some new roads.

We have to get a ride looping on the 198 so we can make a General Sherman excursion after they get the fires under control!

Hah stretchin. That bike is made to ride standing up as much as sitting. It rails along fairly good even when I stand on the pegs :]
