Well, I'm getting a GSR and a buddy of mine is getting the new Smith and Wesson 1911. 1911's are tough man. You have to be prepared to spend the extra money to make them reliable. The only 1911 that is dead nuts reliable out of the box is the springer Range Officer and TRP.
