I just panted the ole 1989 gsxr 750.
and was wondering about custom decal kits or some painted pinstriping.
also , i think i need polishing.(got overspray or peel not sure whats it called).
any advise would be helpful..
it's single stage white.
I am open to all kind of ideas.
any bored airbrush artists out there?

You need to cut and polish it. Wet sand it with about 600 grit sandpaper until smooth to the touch.

Then get a Dual-Action Polisher and some pads (http://www.autogeek.net/lc-ccs-6inch-pads.html) and polish out all those sanding marks u just made. When you're done, it'll have a mirror finish.

You can also use this method to restore a car's beaten finish.

Here's a good link with video

oh yeah you'll need some DA polish, too, and some regular polish.

I think I'm just talking to myself now hahah but I think you can only cut and polish if there is a clearcoat. Just thought I'd add that to anyone reading this.

There WAS a guy advertising on craigslist that was doing work pretty cheap up in Oakhurst or something.

The guy in Manchester mall with his little airbrush store also does vehicles. Last I talked he didn't sound that expensive.

My neighbor paints some pretty awesome work. He does from boats to trucks to bikes to mailboxes. I see his work considering he lives across the street from me. However, he does live in Visalia, but I would recommend him to anyone. If you are interested I can get his phone # for you. If you would like to see some of his work check my myspace... Myspace.com/chrissysthehot1 and on my main friends at the bottom it is called the magic shop.

Yea, I suppose you can just message him on his myspace if you want. Tell him Chrissy recommended him.
