Those look like or are Sport Touring tires, which would be fine on the streets if you want more miles. Not a bad price plus free shipping.

I'd still go for the 2CT's though.

40 percent twisties/0 percent track days/60 percent in town which is best for my riding n why? I've never tried bridgestones. I was impressed with the michelins dry traction n lean angles I trusted it on some tight corners. Wet traction was fair had a lil slip but nothing too bad. B4 the 2 cts I had pirelli diablos.... Never again poor tread life n traction

i had the 015's which are the same tire but a single compound and really liked the grip and profile of them, really liked the rear tire, it had a suprising amount of grip for how hard i was on the throttle with a 1kcc on the street while driving out of corners.

the 016's should be a good amount more grippy on the side and last longer in the middle. win win!

but then again i just dont care for michelin, never ridden them and wont unless im paid to.

I've used Michelins, Bridgestones, Dunlops, Perillis, and the ones I like the most are:
1) Michelins / Briedgestones / Perillis.

They are all excellent tires. I usually buy which ever of the three is the cheapest.

With only 40% twisties, and no track, I'd suggest Qualifiers, BT14's, or regular Pilot Powers. Whichever is cheapest.

Regarding the BT16, is the center compound that much harder than the BT14?

For sure, price is a consideration. But price is crap without service backing it.

Cindy and Duane has been good to me the few little times I've been to Wilsons. That's great to have some people there that like that.

But I'm not looking for the lowest price. There's a people place in town (cws) that I go to, and I don't even give price a second thought. I know I'm being taken care of. I want the shop to make money because it's only right.

Agreed. Duane has been very good to me as well. Haven't met Cindy yet but I have no doubt she's great.

I'm not looking for the lowest price, but I am looking for a fair and honest price. I'd even pay a bit more to keep the local guys in business but the place I found on the Internet was a substantial savings compared the the local suppliers I shopped. That's why I was surprised that Matt came back with the price he quoted. Wilsons never responded to my request. I don't necessarily think that's a bad reflection on Wilsons. People get busy and things happen. That's OK. I still like Wilsons and I'll continue to spend my money there as usual.

I'm sure if I called some of the local dealers and said here's my best price... Now what's your price? Some of them would come down to the same price range and maybe beat it. I don't have time to play that game of going back and forth. I asked Matt and he gave me his best price. Done deal. As long as Matt quoted me something in the ball park, he earned my business.

Thanks for the heads up on CWS. Nice to hear CVR folks have had a good experience with them. Not to mention they're only a few miles from my house. I look forward to stopping by and checking the place out.

Bridgestone is a japanese company. The largest tire maker.

Bridgestone Corporation (株式会社ブリヂストン, Kabushiki-gaisha Burijisuton?) (TYO: 5108) is a multinational rubber conglomerate founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi (石橋正二郎, Ishibashi Shōjirō?) in the city of Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan. The name Bridgestone comes from a literal translation and transposition of ishibashi, meaning "stone bridge" in Japanese.

Bridgestone is currently ranked first in the global tire market, with Michelin second, Goodyear third, and Continental fourth.[1]
