is it single track or graded roads with blind corners and jeeps with jagged front bumpers coming the other way ? Any MX tracks? How about camping ? Is it little kid friendly ? Is it regulated by angry swat team members ?

been a while .
jose basin had lots of 4x4 trails and fire/loggin roads.
i camped there before.
got circled by coyotes.
i also saw the biggest bobcat ever up there in the creek bed.
and had an eagle block off a trail standing on the path wings spread .
as very surreal.
the roads have many blind corners.(ended up on the hood of a touota once up there).
but for me it was the best close trails i could find..
also .. respect the native brothers and sisters up there.

Jose Basin is more for 4x4 rock crawling. My family, a few friends, and I went up there for a poker run and took our two ttr 125s and my dad and one of our friends rode them the whole trail, but i think they both looped them out once and they are both experienced riders. All I can say is its a hell of a lot more fun in a truck than on a bike.

Jose Basin is, by far, the best (close by) place to ride your motorcycle. It has everything... single-track (class A hard stuff) and fast dual track, and graded gravel roads.

I love it... and it really is a great spot for camping (get the right spot) and family stuff. I've taken my kids and wife there several times and spent multiple days riding there... very fun.

Cheers
