Murietta, Ca. - September 23, 2008 - Doug Chandler's Performance Motorcycle School joins the ranks of championship riders and rider training schools that have made Pilot USA their official leather and clothing supplier most recently Doug Polen's 1on1 school.

Pilot USA has been manufacturing quality leather and casual apparel for the motorcycle industry for the past 13 years. Based out of Murietta, CA., the company has supplied competition racing leathers to such riders as Ben Spies, John Hopkins, Josh Hayes, Scott Russell, Jamie James, Jay Springsteen, Gary Nixon and many more.

"We are thrilled by this opportunity to work closely with Doug and the school," Pilot President Josh Bennett said. "I know that we will be able to supply them with top shelf products that will reflect the quality of the school."

Doug Chandler is three-time AMA Superbike Champion and former 500cc GP competitor. He also is one of only four riders to ever win the AMA Grand Slam. Doug has been coaching riders of all levels from recreational track riders to Pro Racers since 2001, and in 2008 started a fully-fledged motorcycle school. The school operates primarily out of Northern and Southern California tracks, including his own backyard - the world famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

"We are very excited about the relationship with Pilot USA," Chandler commented. "They bring to table not only quality products, but a desire to see our business and the relationship succeed that goes beyond just supplying our gear and clothing needs."

In addition supplying riding gear to the school, all of Doug Chandler's future race endeavors will have him wearing Pilot leathers. Doug's son, Jett Chandler, will also wear Pilot in competition use as he continues to develop his professional racing career.
