Starting at 11:30 on Sunday, G-Nug / Up in Smoke and myself left from Castle de Byron and went on an exploratory trip to the Kings River Via Crabtree Rd. We took about every side road possible in search of the mythical single track in the area. Fortunately, we found several single tracks, with 1 being a true (butt-pucker / hold your breath) type of trail. Overall, it was extremely fun and full of action. After the trip, we debated on our mileage, averaging 70-80 miles. My GPS had us at 72 miles total. My body today says it was 200 :confused2: Again, I want to emphasize how legit some of the single track was. for about 3/4 to a 1 mile on one of them, you had about 6 inches of trail with about an 800ft super steep gorge below. The terrain was excellent throughout, with dust only prevalent towards the end of the day. **Scary point of the day, about a 2k pound pitch black bull starring us down on the trail, I may have sharted....

This is a picture of the first single track we found on the day. This is close to the bottom of the hill. The trail did continue past where we stopped, but was a bit beyond the gearing we had.

Damn, killer footage and pictures guys, thanks for posting em up.

Makes me wish I had my camera rolling too. I didn't think we would find much more than fire roads. But hell even the fire roads were fun, ha.
