I just installed some new stainless steel brake lines and I'm pretty happy with them! Braking is noticeably better :D

Bleeding them was a pain in the butt! I really need a vacuum pump!

Which ones did you go with...not that it matters.

I noticed a huge difference on mine as well.

Galfer. They were $89 I only did the front, I dont really see the point in doing the rear other than for bling. Pics coming :D

sprocket..
heres a suggestion...
no vacuume needed..
take a clear hose from the bleeder put in fluid..
(i use pop or beer bottle)
you can flush your brake system
and get solid fluid in line...
its easy with a closed end wrench.
the fluid stops it from flowing backwards on the plunger pumps..
this also works on hydrolic clutches..

you will notice you brakes will fade less with your new lines

I did the front and the rear, just figured that if it would work that good for the front, why not do the back.

I got lucky, when I decided to do it, they just happen to be on sale at CG, Think I paid 71 for the front and 55 for the rear.

Thats what I did. I couldnt get any pressure in the system at all, after about 6 oz of new fluid it finally purged to where I could feel back pressure, then after a few more pumps it was good to go.

I can lock my back break up no problem :D Maybe some day I'll do the back, but I really needed to do the front cause stock sucked.

I'm gonna have to do something like this for my bike especially the rear so I can take full advantage of my rearsets.

Oooo, purty... and if they help braking, heck, that's on my 'must do' list... my year S3 is notorious for crappy front brakes!

I could have got some with lime green vinyl covering, but they were $30 more and I figure the raw stainless look is pretty cool anyway :D

I was just thinking. You been riding for awhile, have some track experience... Maybe its time for you to upgrade to a ZX-6 or maybe even a ZX-10. You should be ready now :evilgrin0013:
