What time are you planning on leaving and coming back. Might be able to sneak away for a couple of hours and then just meet her there.

I just got back from a nice ride up past millerton and back down auberry road. It was a bit chilly though!

I went out for a short one and after leaving Cycle Gear, south on Blackstone, My left bar-end mirror fell off in front of Vons. At first I didn't know what had fell as it happened so quickly, nor did I really hear anything. I looked down and around then realized it was gone:eek:
Flipped a Ueeeeeeee and there was a guy waving me down from the streetside near Vons. The glass didn't brake and this was the 2nd time this has happened. I thanked him and rode over to my indy and borrowed their tools and remounted the sucker Good-n-tight.
I checked Cycle Gear for fuel additives or race fuel in bulk but they no longer carry it due to CARB or EPA Regs.

Which race fuel are you looking for???
I've got a fresh stash of 116 that I mix with 91 and I have connections for whatever you need. I am your Dr. I can supply your stash (as Louie gets attentive) in either 5 or 55 gallon quantities.

Keep in mind that the specific gravity of race furl is different than that of pump and it may throw off your air fuel ratio, usually to the lean side. So, if your bike is not tuned for it, it'll do little for you if not negativly effect performance. The only reason I run it is my bikes will knock and ping under lower rpm high throttle/high load conditions and as well I have had the power commanders tuned with this mixture on a dyno.

I mix my fuel 1 part 116 to 2 parts 91. If there is no chemical voodo that happens with the mixture, statistically the octane will equate out to this.
((1x116) + (2x91)) / 3 = (116) + (182) / 3 = 298 / 3 = 99.333

Octane does not equal power. Ocatne is only the fuels resistance to self ignite (spontanious combustion) given heat and pressure. That is why it is required for high compression engines. Too much octane will actually reduce power due to non-prime burning conditions for the fuel used. Ideally, you should only run just enough octane to keep your engine from pre-ingiting or "knocking & pinging".
