She does not have a date yet but says the family is shooting for Thursday. After the service Kendra said there would be a dinner provided to all. As she has more info, I'm sure she'll put it up.
If I am at all able, I will be there...

Both good suggestions. I'd go with the Holiday Inn, seems like it would be easiest to spot everybody, there is only one big parking lot.
Our schedule was completed Friday afternoon, and I didn't see it until this morning... I'm scheduled to be in court for preliminary hearings Thurs/Fri... and my supervisor is out sick, so I won't be able to even try to get the day off until tomorrow... ugh. :( I will try, though, I very much want to be there.

I just spoke to Kendra Houa, there will be a graveside service at the cemetary in corcoran (http://www.cagenweb.com/re/kings/CorcoranCemetery/Corcoran%20Cemetery%20Main%20Page.htm) There's a map in the link....not a good one but it looks to be near the intersection of 137 and Waukena Ave. on the north side of the street. There will be a dinner in Visalia at Kendra's father's Church following the service. The name and location of which will be posted later.
Thanks to everyone for their patience, Kendra has got a lot on her shoulders right now. i'm sure we're going to represent CVR Proper!

Now the service is at 11 am so we need to meet and have kick stands up by 10:15 ... If you want give me a call 300-0094

For anyone who wishes to meet and ride down as a group that morning, from Fresno the riders are meeting somewhere at 9:15am.
Then, hook up with the Visalia group at the Shell station off of the 99 at the Caldwell exit, # 280, and we'll leave there as a group NO LATER THAN 10:15am.

Kyle lost his life in a motorcycle accident on May 4, 2008.
He was a talented young man, that brought the best out of everybody. Every day he lived his life to the fullest. He loved playing video games, wrestling and riding a street bike.
He was a wonderful and loving son, brother and fiance.
Kyle was born in Visalia Ca on February 24, 1989.
He was the middle child of three brothers. He was raised on two wheels. As he was growing up he loved being outdoors and was very athletic. When he was young he was involved in baseball, soccer, skating and rode dirt bikes with his father and brothers. In the first three years of high school he was a dedicated wrestler that wrestled long and hard. He placed 2nd in the Central Valley out of all the schools. He was a straight A student that graduated with a 4.0. His favorite studies were general science and the medical field. He furthered his education at C.O.S. to become a doctor. When he was 17 he got his first street bike and motorcycle license. Although he wanted to pursue his study to be a doctor he was also highly interested in video games, physics of the of the universe and professional street bike racing.
Kyle had two years experience in riding street bikes and ten plus years on dirt bikes. Kyle was a natural born rider on street bikes. He would always try to improve his riding skills every day on the road and he could do anything easily. Kyle rode his bike no matter what mother nature brought. His motorcycle was his high of life, and nothing else would replace that. Since he rode every day for two years he was a medium inter media rider. He rode in the Sequoia National Park with is brother every other weekend to improve his riding skills. He and his brother would give each other advice on their riding skills. Kyle loved riding his bike and that is what he did last.
He will always be loved and remembered by all the people he touched. We will love you forever.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, at Corcoran Cemetery, 4170 Waukena Rd., Corcoran, CA.

I ate all the chocolate cake. You know how us fat guys LOOOVVEEE cake!!
I have a few thoughts about today -
After all that I heard and learned about Kyle today, it is clear this world needs more Kyles, not less. It's very hard to accept the situation.
The guys and gals that went to the funeral.. you all are some of the best people I've met (including you, Anthony! hahaha). If any of you need help with anything, let me know. I know I'll see a lot more of all of you this summer and beyond and couldn't be happier about it.
Today at the service I saw a big field of fresh-cut grass, thousands of flowers, and a row of beautiful bikes off in the distance, and the only thing I could think was this.... I never want to see it again. The next time will be too soon.
Larry is right - Kyle's life served one great purpose to us here at CVR, it's to get us thinking about safety and our mortality. Let's not lose another great person. Please.

I thought it was pretty KOOL to see 10 bikers follow a GPS telling them to go north, then make U-turn a block down, come back heading south on same street and loop all 10 bikes on a 20 mile detour down to Tulare and back to where we could of been 30 minutes earlier if we had just gone straight!!!:rolleyes:

Kenny took the lead and lead us on to the freeway. I'd have avoided that but WTH, he's local and we all made it.
We were never lost Dan, we were right where the GPS said we were....:p Just trust the box. It'll get you there. Maybe not the way you think you will, but eventually........ :D
