This is a great article. How to ride safer on the street.
Thanks to l2fly, she posted it up in the middle of a thread, I thought it needed it's own.

Thanks, that was a good idea, to give the article its own thread!
I really liked this article... I never thought about how dangerous the technique of going WOT between corners, to catch up with faster riders, then forced to slam on the brakes in the corners, can be for slower riders, for example (heck, I bought a bigger bike so I could catch up to the faster guys between corners!)... and I like the idea of concentrating on smoothness vs. speed. In the Priedmore CLASS I really concentrated on technique, trying to keep the shifts smooth, etc, and it was more fun than banging through the corners, puckering up because the suspension was bouncing along, loosing traction from a rough downshift, etc. That CLASS also stressed staying tight in the corners, and staying away from the yellow line in blind corners.
And of course, on the street, a good, non-competative attitude is everything...
The mindset of that article is going to be one I adopt from here on out...

good article. I feel better about taking corners slower than everyone else :D
