Yesterday me and a couple of guys decided to take a run up to the Mountain House and have lunch but when we got there we realized nobody had cash, all we had were our credit cards. So we asked the guy at the bar and he said keep going on 245 about 4-5 miles and we came across the Pinehurst Lodge. They gladly took our credit cards :D and served us the best hamburgers we ever had. Their fries were similar to the fries and In and Out but bigger and crisper. Everybody was cool as S&^t and way less people than the Mountain House. All and all I was glad we didn't take cash.

What's up John! I saw you at Mt. House, I had the red CBR600rr along with my friend on a silver BMW 1100s I was wondering why you guys pulled up and then left. Had I known what the situation was I would have gladly lent you guys the cash. Damn, come to think of it, I should have bought you guys lunch and have ya take it off my next oil change! lol
Let me know next time you decide to hit 245 it's one of my favorite roads.

Let me know anytime you wanna hit up 245, I love that road 180-245 is a fun loop. Just FYI as of last Sunday the roads were great! no sand at all hardly any traffic, looks like they hit it with a street sweeper recently.

We (Don Hopkirk and Scarman) hit Pinehurst Lodge the day after thanksgiving 2 years ago. It was a little nippy out but they had a fire going. The cook apologised for their limited selection. The burgers were not patties until 2 minutes before they hit the grill and the fries were fresh cut right before they took a swim. I never tasted better!! Pinehurst Lodge is definitely a good place to eat!

I had the opportunity to ride 245 on Sunday, and the best part was that my friend let me borrow his 1098 and he rode my K5. Well, I'll be getting a 1098 as soon as I can:D

N E Ways, the road was pretty much clean with a few small patches of sand. 180 was awesome no traffic and clean.

Have you guys tried Dunlap Road. I like it better than 245 and you can get on this road through 245 as well, and I'll take you to Squaw Valley, but you'll miss the best part of 180 if you take it.:D

Cash doesnt pay rewards points! Who uses cash anymore. Its the friggin' 21st century. Any business that doesnt take credit cards looses my business LOL
