yeah i wish i could start racing!! that would be awesome.. ive been riding since i was 7. started with dirtbikes and now i do both. and i am very fortunate that my parents are cool with it

I remember when I turned 16:confused: wait a minute no I don't!:D
My first ride was a new 1976 250 2 stroker street bike and i recall my first ride getting in over my head and panicking into my first sharp turn:eek:. Lucky I didn't fall and slowed at the point when i struck the Damn FN curb.
How embarresing...:rolleyes: even though no one observed it happen.
That was along time ago.

sounds familiar. I rode/raced dirt bikes majority of my life and got my first sport bike (02 gsxr600) when i was 16. I'm 20 now and the Gsxr is still running as strong as ever. As long as you respect your machine it doesnt matter how old you are when it comes to motorcycling. Welcome to the boards and cya on the roads

Yes we understand that GSXr riders need to over compinsate for something. Us Yamaha riders just pass everyone and then leave it all alone. No need to brag since Yamaha ridas are better

I have a 08 Ninja 650. I like it. It handles like a dream :) I saw one on ebay last night for $6100 shipped Brand new Lime green ;)
