I haven't been up there for a bit, but, I'm guessing 190 is it's usual fabulous self up to Camp Nelson........I've ridden many, if not most, of the best moto roads in Cali, and, the Mighty 190 definately ranks up with the best.:dblthumb2:

Up there a couple weeks ago, and was it's typical dirty self up past Camp Nelson.....We turned around before Ponderosa......It is fine to ride at a normal pace but briskly the fast guys were slipping on front wheel, i only lost the rear end and slowed way down.........
That road is definitely not my favorite........

Yeah, it was pretty dirt. Had the front start to tuck twice on the Yamaha. Slowed me down alot. Pretty scenery though. We should get people from the penn. out on work furlough to sweep our favorite roads. Hell, they're already costing us 40-50k/yr, put their asses to work.
Cheers-

190 was great 2 years ago, clean, sticky, and smooth. Last year it never seemed to be clean, always a little sandy. Was disappointing

I also love 155, but, when 190 is clean......:hail:
The only problematic thing about 155 are the tar snakes above Glennville. They get a bit greasy in the summer.

190 was nice and clean almost to Camp Nelson. It was actually cleaner than 155, which had little bit of springtime schmutz here and there.
Another thing about riding around there, is a big sweeper on Old Stage road just before the Tea Pot Dome cross road. It's not often one can find nice, big, and relatively safe 100+ mph curves out here in the real world.:D

It was nice meeting up with you guys! What a day it was for me! On yokhole valley Rd, My license plate bracket went to pieces. As i was tying it back on, I burnt my hand really good on my exhaust. On the way back down 190. I had the pleasure of getting a wasp in my leathers and was stung 12 times down the right side of my chest. Thats when I decided to split off and head for home. once on the road from Springville, close to the forestry buildings. I picked up a nail in my rear that left Ray and I walking for a bit until some one stopped and gave us a ride to cell coverage. What a bad day of riding with some great people!!!! I hope to be able to do it again soon!

Hey, man....thanks for covering up all the bad luck Mojo yesterday. As a matter of fact, on 155, just after a pit stop, a Honet / Yellow Jacket flew into my helmet and got caught between my right temple and the helmet pad. I could feel it crawling towrds my eye, which I had to close and furiously pull over......And no sting!! Ha Ha !! NO sting.:D

Bummer sorry about the bad luck, guess you should have went up 245 with Jeff and I eh? Something told me your 155 ride was gonna end up being a long one. I was home by 1:30 you should have called me, I would have hooked up the trailer to pick up you and your bike.:(
