Help Finding Hit and Runner

My friend got hit at Barstow and Grantland (west of the 99) last Thursday about 730 am. He was going east on Barstow and my friend was going north on Grantland.

The car is a last generation Integra, most likely green in color. The car has an unpainted front bumper and at this point would have damage to one of the headlights and surrounding area from the collision. He also had a loud muffler and black wheels.

The person driving it was Asian and had a girl with him. After he hit my friend and spun her around 3 times before her car hit a pole, he stopped for a second but then sped off. According to the construction workers near by he had always gone through that intersection in the morning.

Judging by the map, he was either heading toward the 99 or going to school at Central HS. If anyone knows or sees a car like his please let me know. I realize there's probably a billion Integras with primer bumpers and mufflers, but this one has damage and some other unique characteristics.

Thanks for any help. I'm about ready to start sweeping far and ride. I hate people like this.

The situation sucks and i hope your buddy is ok.

I can't help to LOL at the description of the Integra. Like you said there is a billion in Fresno with the same description and driver. I hope this guy gets caught and I 'll keep my eyes peeled.

Your best bet is to go over to Central High and look through the parking lot. Second, hang out at that intersection tomorrow morning and wait for that car.

Once you find the car get the license plate number. Take a camera and take pictures of the damage to the vehicle. If the vehicle is at the school call the police immediately, don't try to contact the guy yourself.

Can you identify the male driving or the passenger?

He won't be going through that intersection for a while. He may end up taking a long route to school or work.

I think I am going to stake out Central's lot tomorrow morning. Here's some more information I've put together..

I should also note the car wasn't THAT nice. It wasn't nearly as clean and remember, the front bumper was primer black.

I believe he came out of the area surrounded by Barstow to the south, 99 to the east and the river to the north and west.

I believe this because he was going across Grantland on Barstow, and after Grantland Barstow curves south. It wouldn't make sense for him to of come north to Barstow just to be forced south again.

That will be your best bet. You would be surprised if he is stupid enough to take off from you then there is a possibility he will drive through the same intersection.

Friend is real sore and probably will be for a long time.

FPD knows but you know, they have a lot of these already. Sucks.

Did you go by the school? I would go into the office and let the Staff know what you have.

Yes I did go by the school. I scouted the parking lot and there is an orange integra that looks like it has fresh paint. It also has Michael's Auto plates on front and back but no window sticker. We also called all the Michael's dealers and they claim to know nothing about the car.

That's the FIRST place my posters are going up.

Here is the deal....Go to the office tell them your complaint and see if they will call the student in. If you can recognize him have the school detain him and call the police. It is a felony hit and run when someone is injured.

I'll see if I can't get one of the construction workers who saw it to come with me. One of them says he could ID the kid no problems.

I would be willing to bet that if he is not caught in a day or two, he will feel like he is off the hook and start taking his normal route again. maybe post up one block down in case he just detours that one intersection and gets back on track after. GOOD LUCK

No update. I did my best but no one seems to have any information. My only real hope now is to hope he's getting lazy and is heading back through that intersection.
