This sounds like a gathering of the Thugs.....

I don't mean to be cynical, but these types of rallies draws out the biker clubs IE Soul Brothers, United, Unknown Riders...etc. Just a bunch of thugs with shinny bikes and leather vest.

Calkidd, have you ever been to any thing like this before ? are on a toy run ? people look at any one on a bike as one of them "THUGS" as you call em
whats fun is most of the guys with them shine bike have more money and a better job then the person looking down thier nose at them. when you buy a Harley it starts out at 20 G's + some of the Bikes go for over 100,000.
and I have never had a problem rolling in on my sportbike that cost 10 grand.

SORRY I'm the one that feel's as long as you ride your a biker ? see none riders look at you the same way they look at anyone on a bike ...

Oh wait I am one of them THUG looking guys your talking about, Team Flatline Ryders is a motorcycle club ! ! !
I have to find a poam I have that talks about that biker ! see us for what we really are .

I don't think he's pointing any fingers at your club bro, but I bet as a Fresno cop, Calkidd has a little more insight into the groups he listed than most of us do. ;)

I would probably go as I'm into anything biker related, but will be out shopping for baby stuff this weekend. :o

didn't think he was talking about my club. And I may have went off more then I should have , But most of the guys that show up to this kind of stuff are the ones that are WEEKEND BIKERS they go out and buy a 50,000 bike put on the leathers and act like a biker come Monday he may see them in the Court House ? we have three Cops a DA and a CHP in the club.
Kind of fun when you see them at work , and then after they get off work and hang out with the crew.
ALL I'm saying is don't judge a book by it's cover .

there are more thug-wannabees than actual thugs. LOL
But honestly, aren't the biker clubs the people these events are TRYING to draw? I mean, for the promoters, they want the biggest draw to their event.

1.Calkid, if you're a motorcop, you better not be one of the nipple cops I saw at BMW:D
2.Yeah, I've noticed that if it's chromed, they never wave back at me.
3. I'm stuck painting my friend's house.

After I posted that I thought I would have miss understood. I was assuming everyone knew what I did. First, off I am not your typical "beat cop" I am assigned to a Violent Crime Suppression Unit, I see and understand things a little different that most people do. I have seen these rallies come together in Fresno and have responded to many shootings because of them.

When Fresno has a "biker rally" the afore mentioned biker clubs come out. Just because they have expensive bikes doesn't mean anything regarding their social status. Sure I am being pessimistic, but that is what the job has done to me.

I never pointed to your club nor did I group "clubs" in my post. I specifically named a few that first came to mind.

Personally, don't care for bike clubs that is just me. I have nothing against those who are involved in clubs.

BK thanks.

the club I'm in is about riding and enjoying life. We take rides do the toy runs , have BBQ's. we are all drug free working people. who enjoy a good time and a cold beer from time to time.
I post everything to do with Motorcycle's if it's not your cup of tea then pass on it, Someone may enjoy going and they may have no problems at all at this event.

None take'n Calikidd ... I've been around the block a few times and I know how things get at some of events. I was in SAC. for 15 years. Visalia is a nice easy going town ;) and the events put on in Madera are real relaxed not like the one I went to in Fresno .. but then I don't go to Fresno much you guy's a hard on sport bike riders  LOL ...

Don't hold that against me....I am sure once you ride with me you'll be scratching your head wondering if I am really a cop.

Actually it wasnt me and a buddy rode up from lemoore, a little wet but not to bad. And turned out to be a nice day! No problems from any one the whole time I was there, just good music and nice bikes. Def go back next year. Wonder though if anyone was or has been on this www.redwoodrun.com me and some buddies are thinking about doing it next time around.
