Some others I have in mind for your consideration:

Marlin fishing/or any other big game fish(gotta catch one big one before I go)
View Great White Sharks while being banged around in one of those cages
Hang Glide over Hawaii(Maui) and then land on the beach
Ultra-light flying (motorized hang gliding)
Visit and scuba in Austrailia and the Great Barrier Reef

Go see a Moto GP!!! (took my brother in-law last year he's a Harley Guy so I wasn't sure if he would be into it.... nearly begged if he could go again with me this year!)

Saw that on the news. A guy in Long Beach did that same thing maybe, what, 20 years ago. Took off from Long Beach and drifted into LAX airspace. Officials were not happy with having to shut the airport down.
