Road 245

Some pics of rd 245, one of the roads UFO ST took us on (first ever CVR ride) . This is my new favorate road !!:D I've been back up there 3 times and I love this road!! There are lots of realy nice roads up there, above Squaw Valley, when you get tired of the same old ride up auberry road.

What time do you estimate arriving in Heartland?? I'll be up in Sequoia scouting the road between Dorst Creek Campground and there. Perhaps you would like to meet for lunch?

There's always next weakend!!:D If we start planning sooner maybe we could get more than 3 or 4 riders together.

Oh and someone needs to figure out some sort of a/c system for Megan and Oomph so thay can ride too!:p

we had a nice ride and some great food :D and was home by 1ish ;) we rode up 245 and down Dry Creek a small group of like ten riders :cool:

I like taking Ruth Hill, Millwood (or Sand Creek), Dunlop rd. up to 245. Really nice riding up in there. Then take 245 over to 180 and back down. I usually get off 180 at Elwood and ride through Wonder Valley and Trimmer Springs back home. If I'm looking for just a bit more distance, I'll take Trimmer Springs back up to Maxon and then ride over to Humphrey's Station before heading back to Clovis. Also taking Trimmer Springs past Maxon all the way back to where the pavement ends is a really nice ride. You have to turn around and head back the way you came, but it's worth riding through there twice.
