The owner of the Ponderosa Lodge came into the shop where I work to see if we wanted to sponsor a bike day up there. He said Aug 9 but I'll keep y'all posted if I get anymore info. He said on a regular weekend he gets about 3-5 hundred bike come through anyway so might be big. We'll see.

OOOOoooo, we were just up there last weekend (I think its the Ponderosa Lodge, where the restaurant is?) and they said something about a bike day, but I don't remember the date they told us... wonder if its that same day he's talking to you about? :confused2:

Maybe someone else on the ride will have a better memory than I do, & chime in!

Yes, August 9th was the date he was talking about. I put it in my phone and double checked. The guy also told me there are supposed to be a couple vendors there with booths set up and either a radio station or a DJ playing some music.
