Yeah I'm not a fan of the Frank Thomas gear. I've seen Frank Thomas gear come a part at the seems from basic normal wear.

im buying it today. I just need to know what size i am. I think im either a 44 or 46. Heres Teknic sizing chart, http://www.teknicgear.com/catalog2.php?page=size_chart&styleid=1

But still, im not sure what size i am. I'm 6'2, 200lbs. I need to do more measurements when i get home i guess...............unless someone here knows which one would fit.

That suit will work, but you can also wear a two piece that zips together around your waist. I went with a two piece because I am not like Calkidd who can go to the track 2-3 times a month.

Thats the route I'd take. I already have the violator jacket, I could just get the teknic race pants and be set.

LMAO I do have leather pants, but they arent race pants and only has the 8" zipper in back, which, by the way, is one size too big for my friggin jacket! I got them for the street cause the are ventilated. Some off brand. I wanted the Joe Rocket Ventilated pants, but they are on back order until july everywhere

You can always have BackPack-Chrissy make a zipper attachment for your jacket and pants.

The big thing you need to look at is the distance from your crotch to the top of your shoulders. If those measurements are close the rest of the jacket should fit fine.

No they dont. I dont know anywhere local that does. He could shoot Brian at sportbiketrackgear@comcast.net and ask him. They should be able to pretty much nail the size.

Teknic is known to run a size small. So if you're a 44 normally you'd want a 46 if you buy the Teknic. You can verify that with the sportbiketrackgear.com website.

The hell we don't...

*edit*

And it sucks too. Nothing's worse than telling some eager/excited guy/gal in the tech line that the gear they're wearing is unsuitable for the track after they've spent all the time and $$$ just to be there. I've been the bearer of ill tidings on this score twice and it's no fun at all. But I justify my seemimgly draconian actions by the knowledge that the gear is the only thing between the rider and the pavement if the unthinkable happens. I've seen 2 piece suits with 3/4 wrap zippers ride up in the belly area and take several layers of the guy's skin right off. Not pretty...

To the OP...if you can swing it, a 1 piece is the way to go.
